Position: Digital Communications Specialist

Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) is a statewide organization that strives to enable Illinois soybean producers to be the world's most knowledgeable and profitable soybean producers.
The Digital Communications Specialist will support the creation of a strategy and the effective implementation of website and social platforms, as well as develop and execute data management, database maintenance, and CRM integration. This position supports the organization in both internal and external communications efforts, developing and deploying digital tactics, implementation and analysis that include, but are not limited to, presentations, CRM data input and organization, email deployment and evaluation and website strategy, development, and analysis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides creation, implementation, and analysis for ISA’s digital media channel.
- Maintains ISA’s Hubspot data and reporting; acts as the organization’s designated data owner, accountable for the governance, integrity, and oversight of its data assets.
- Supports and drives ISA digital initiatives, including website maintenance and email marketing.
- Serves as staff contact for data integration into the CRM system.
- Leads in implementing, distributing, and analyzing e-newsletters, text, and email marketing campaigns with internal teams and external contractors.
- Tracks, analyzes, and recommends improvements for web and social analytics.
- Supports internal communications projects as assigned per campaign process.
- Leads all back-end and front-end website updates. Works closely with IT to keep site functioning properly.
- Reports digital insights to ISA leadership team.
- Provides event and project support as needed.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or marketing
- A diverse communications skillset with an emphasis on social media and multimedia
- At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with content distribution platforms such as HubSpot and Sprout Social
- Graphic design skillset
Physical Requirements
- Normal office working conditions.
- Must be available to travel offsite for meetings/events when necessary.
- Must be available after hours and weekends to troubleshoot problems that may arise.
- Some physical demands – may need to lift between 35-50 lbs.
