The Business Systems Manager is a critical member of the Revenue Operations team at EV Connect. As our first Business Systems Manager, you will play a unique role by driving the effectiveness and efficiency of our customer-facing teams through the best use of technology. This position will be responsible for coming up with solutions to business problems around data and integration with the end goal of creating efficiency across multiple teams. You should be excited to serve as a systems architect and the person responsible for delivering an end-to-end operationally efficient tech stack that allows us to analyze data, inform strategy, and enable our GTM organization. 

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Administration of core GTM tech stack including Hubspot, NetSuite, GleanQuote, Gong, Impartner and others.
  • Own system configurations (fields, workflows, point-to-point integrations between revenue systems) as well as vendor relationships.
  • Seek input from stakeholders to determine business objectives and requirements and translate to system requirements and technology roadmaps that increase the value of each tool over time.
  • Develop and document process and technical solutions that leverage functionality in our supported systems.
  • Partner with Business leadership on our end-to-end Sales and CS processes and align technology/solutions to these needs, as well as our internal data and analytics team to ensure trust in data mapping between systems.
  • Manage any necessary platform migrations and integrations associated with the end-to-end design.
  • Partner with Enablement to create and disseminate tech/tools training.
  • Operationalizing Sales Plays/Process.
  • Be an expert in what the GTM team does on a daily basis and determine ways to automate/improve through the revenue tech stack.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends including Hubspot releases and using the updates to promote optimized process and technical solutions while maintaining cost efficiency, system stability, security and reliability.
  • Align with the customer journey by bringing the necessary context to system design to support a seamless experience for our customers.
  • Collaborate with business partners to identify technology needs, facilitating process and technology discussions throughout Revenue Operations and Finance teams including developing documentation on current systems, workflows, and processes.
  • Create, establish and monitor a best in class reporting infrastructure through Hubspot, Netsuite and other related reporting tools. This includes maintaining data integrity through data cleansing and deduplication.
  • Lead and/or participate in the development of functional requirements and technical specifications.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of GTM operations experience in a fast-paced startup/SaaS environment.
  • Experience administering and building out Hubspot.
  • Experience using middleware such as Polytomic
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and comfort presenting to everyone from entry-level employees to senior vice presidents.
  • Experience in collaborating with product owners representing Marketing, Sales, Customer Operations, Product & Engineering and balancing competing interests and needs across the organization to define a clear roadmap for deliverables.
  • Highly collaborative style with strong influence skills, attention to detail, and incredibly strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter, able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced business environment.
  • Ability to clearly detail processes and develop technical solutions.
  • Experience and desire to look for opportunities to infuse AI into Business systems and processes a plus.
  • Deliver clever, effective solutions to tricky problems. Find the right mix of rolling up your sleeves and delegating / managing third parties.
