EV Connect seeks a Customer Success Manager to join our rapidly growing company.

This person will work with a client base that represents a broad spectrum of clients, from small businesses to F500 companies to utilities to government agencies.

The ideal candidate will be resourceful, dedicated and passionate about relationship management, problem solving, strategic thinking, and the electric vehicle/clean transportation industry.

Working with retail or hospitality customers is a big plus.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for proactively meeting with clients 
  • Be primary point of contact for site hosts post-implementation
  • Establish a renewal forecast and coordinate SaaS renewals
  • Identify and act upon “at-risk” accounts to ensure retention
  • Deliver all consulting obligations associated with the Optimize (premium) offering (e.g. pricing consultation, semiannual client reviews, etc.)
  • Review utilization and tee up upsell or expansion opportunities at existing accounts (incremental stations, ports under management, new offerings such as our Shield product)
  • Help with training, retraining of client staff to promote system enablement 

 

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage key decision makers at corporate level
  • Quarterly reviews (cross functional:  Exec sponsor, Product, PMO, etc., in person) to ensure client’s utilization and success and to identify potential growth areas
  • As appropriate, advocate for key customers internally
  • Support key client (trade shows, events, etc.)
  • Solicit new business opportunities (project expansion) from existing clients by mapping organizational needs and and positioning EV Connect as the premier EV charging software solution.
  • Maintain or exceed renewal goals
  • Actively map locations in organization and have a champion within each

 

Qualifications:

  • 2 – 5+ years of serving in a client-facing role in account management, sales, business development or customer success role
  • Experience serving as lead point of contact for company’s most important and strategic clients is a plus
  • Creativity, vision and strong business acumen give you the ability to connect the dots – bring technology and business needs together to ensure effective execution
  • Ability to think and act strategically, with experience in strategic account planning and execution against such plans a plus
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Must be able to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional teams, and across all levels within an organization
  • Experience utilizing various CRM tools to track and document activities, with HubSpot experience a plus
  • Innovative self-starter, with the ability to devise solutions to complex problems, and to implement those solutions hands-on, while bringing creativity to the workplace
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture
  • Ability to travel nationally on occasion as needed
  • Have an ownership mentality, one in which you embrace the responsibility and the opportunity
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in solar, energy efficiency, electric vehicle charging, vehicle, or the automotive, energy or transportation sectors, is a plus
  • A passion for environmental issues, or electric vehicles, alternative fuels, and/or clean transportation in particular, is a plus
