What will you do?

This role is heavily focused on net new logo/business with large enterprise level companies. You will use your extensive experience, domain expertise and ingenuity to initiate and book revenue with enterprise prospects. Leverage the strength of all EVC’s functions to become a strategic partner for their sustainability through electrification efforts.

You are adept at navigating relationships with multiple executive stakeholders of large enterprises and can creatively solution to successfully negotiate favorable terms and execute contracts. You will manage complete and complex sales cycles, often presenting to Partner and Senior level executives the value of our full suite of capabilities. Your mastery of vision creation will be on display as you convey EVC’s depth and breadth of solutions for value creation to all levels. Work cross-functionally to bring in SME support when necessary for product demonstrations, in-market events, and account specific initiatives all while forecasting sales activity and revenue achievement. Success requires innate curiosity, an intense personal energy and focused activity.

Areas of accountability:

  • Constantly identify new business opportunities in the market. This may involve networking, attending industry events, conducting market research, and staying up to date on industry trends.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target accounts. This involves developing a deep understanding of the account's business needs, pain points, and priorities, and positioning the company's products and services as the solution to these challenges.
  • Develop and execute account plans for each prospective target account. This involves identifying key decision-makers, mapping out the decision-making process, and creating a customized sales strategy for each account.
  • Drive the sales process from start to finish, from initial contact to contract negotiation and close. This involves identifying the decision-making process, working with the internal sales team to create proposals, and managing the negotiation and closing process
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure the company is meeting the needs of its customers and providing high-quality service.
  • Engage and expand relationships with Schneider Electric strategic accounts to leverage their Fortune 500 customers.
  • Meet or exceed their sales targets on a consistent basis. This involves setting goals, tracking progress, and adjusting strategies as needed to ensure success.
  • Stay up to date on industry developments/trends and use this information to inform their sales strategy and approach.

Desired skills, experience, and knowledge:

  • Master’s and/or Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is typically required, although equivalent work experience may also be considered.
  • Extensive experience in enterprise-level sales, with a proven track record of generating new business and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in selling cloud-based SaaS with hardware solutions within a relevant industry or domain (e.g., SaaS partner networks & API integrations services, electric vehicle infrastructure, new sustainability technologies, etc.).
  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles and negotiating contracts with multiple executive stakeholders.
  • Experience in presenting to and engaging with senior level stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to understand complex business needs and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  • Discipline to work a plan in the face of challenge without instant gratification.
  • Someone who is bold in their actions and never satisfied with complacency.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to creatively solve problems and find mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to understand industry trends and market dynamics.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using sales tools and CRM software to manage sales activities, track progress, and forecast revenue.

Compensation based on experience:

OTE Range: $160,000 - $250,000

Base/Variable Range: 60/40 - 40/60
