EV Connect is seeking an energetic problem solver to join our new Field Services Team as Field Service Coordinator.  You will work directly with our customer support and field service partners to resolve EV charge station issues in the field and return stations to active service in the shortest possible time under the EVC Shield offering.

The proper candidate will have experience in coordinating field teams and be interested in diving in head-first to the rapidly growing and evolving EV charging industry.  Positive attitude, flexibility and a strong work ethic are critical to thriving in this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and dispatch field technicians to site in accordance with the site-specific SLAs.
  • Coordinate all parts and hardware inventory as well as coordinate the delivery of inventory from warehouse to field. 
  • Track all field related POs, Quotes, and invoices in collaboration with finance
  • Coordinate and execute actions on service tickets in conjunction with internal and external teams and partners
  • Analyze and provide clear feedback regarding issues that arise with hardware and software
  • Work in conjunction with Hardware/field Partners and on-site technicians to guide resolutions for hardware issues in the field

QUALIFICATIONS (YOU ARE):

  • A curious self-starter, able to work independently without excessive oversight
  • An effective multi-tasker than can set priorities and schedule work activities.
  • A critical and analytical thinker with a passion for solving customer issues
  • A strong communicator capable of interacting professionally with colleagues, partners and customers in high pressure, time sensitive, environments.
  • Willing to work flexible hours and overtime on short notice as customer escalations require
  • Available to be “on call” after normal working hours on a periodic basis
  • Comfortable around a computer with experience in MS Office Suite, plus one or more Cloud-based ticket management systems such as Zendesk

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-4 Years’ experience coordinating field service in a fast-paced environment
