The Vice President, Sales will be responsible for setting and executing EV Connect’s sales and sales strategy across the United States.  This executive will provide leadership to help drive complex transactions with clients in the Vehicle Manufacturers, Energy Companies, Utilities, Retail, Municipalities, Hospitality, Healthcare, and Technology, Building Automation and Education industries.  

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute short term and long-term strategies to build client base in markets allocated to the job holder
  • Develop and execute an aggressive customer acquisition plan to generate aggressive annual growth in revenue
  • Maintain key Existing customer relationships allocated to the job holder and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base
  • Analyze and review market and competitive landscape to identify trends and opportunities for potential new partnerships.
  • Report all data accurately, and report accurately as to timing and probability of transactions.


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of commercial business development, market development, partnership and/or sales experience, with a preference for EV experience.
  • Ability to think and act strategically, with experience in strategic planning and execution a plus.
  • Background in Installation , especially DCFC, is a plus
  • Must be able to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional teams, and across all levels within an organization.
  • Experience utilizing various CRM tools to track and document activities
  • Innovative self-starter, with the ability to devise solutions to complex problems, and to implement those solutions hands-on, while bringing creativity to the workplace.
  • Experience in solar, energy efficiency, electric vehicle charging, vehicle, or the automotive, energy or transportation sectors, is a plus.
