EV Connect is seeking a Head of Project Management – Engineering-Procurement-Construction (“EPC”). Overseeing the initiation, execution and completion of a high volume of distributed construction site projects across the country. Work consists of installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations at bus stations, charging hubs, fleet depots, airports, hotels, parking lots, and condominium locations. Projections range from full Make Ready sites to basic install of level 2 chargers at the stub. All field work is performed by Electrical Contractors and Installation Partners (VAR) in EV Connect’s extensive contractor network. Heavy coordination of station equipment and working with hardware partners in equipment prep, timing and set up. Responsible for the supervision of 5 project management resources.

If you’ve had some exposure to vendor construction management, ideally managing electrical contractors in the deployment of EV Charging Stations, Solar or something similar, you’re an ideal candidate. 


The Project Management Team will be responsible for working with sales to respond to RFPs and major bids; manage remote site assessments, budgets and schedules; and ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of Electric Vehicle charging equipment. The ideal candidate is able to work in a fast-paced environment defining clear objectives and milestones with internal and external teams/vendors while working closely with customers, contractors, designers, and local AHJ’s (authority having jurisdiction).

Desired experience includes:

* Bachelor’s Degree, Degree in Electrical Engineering a plus

* 5+ years’ experience in a management role overseeing contractors and installation crews

* Knowledge of construction design and engineering, permitting and procurement process 

* Knowledge/exposure to PMBOK/CAPM or PMP a plus

* Ability to demonstrate familiarity with project management methodologies such as waterfall and agile

* Experience in Solar and Electric Vehicle charging, or like industries, a plus

*Experience with site estimation and design a plus

*Preferably Los Angeles or New York Area; but would consider any location in USA as long as candidate has proven ability to manage a remote based team and willingness to travel (15%).
