We’re seeking a (telecommuting) Project Manager who will be responsible for the management and completion of a high volume of distributed construction site projects primarily in New York State and the greater New England area.

If you’ve had some exposure to vendor construction management, ideally managing electrical contractors in the deployment of EV Charging Stations or something similar, you’re an ideal candidate. 


Our Project Manager will be responsible for managing site assessments, budgets and schedules, and ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of Electric Vehicle charging equipment. The ideal candidate is able to work in a fast-paced, autonomous environment defining clear objectives, deliverables, timelines and milestones with internal and external teams/vendors while working closely with customers, contractors, designers, and local AHJ’s (authority having jurisdiction). You will obtain and review SOW proposals from electrical contractors, select and manage vendors, and communicate with multi-level stakeholders to deliver successful and on-time implementation of project goals.

In a short period of time, you’ve dramatically improved our deployment process, have a roster of incredibly satisfied customers, and effectively integrated our project management process with a diverse set of partners and vendors.

Desired experience includes:


* Bachelor’s Degree

* 3-6 years’ experience managing contractors and installation crews

* Knowledge of construction design and engineering, permitting and procurement process 

* Knowledge/exposure to PMBOK/CAPM or PMP  a plus

* Ability to demonstrate familiarity with project management methodologies such as waterfall and agile

* Experience in Solar and Electric Vehicle charging, or like industries, a plus

* Would consider role as contract position and/or someone looking to take next steps into a software-focused career
