Organizational Overview:

Immunovant, Inc. is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to enabling normal lives for people with autoimmune diseases. As a leader in FcRn inhibitor technology, we are boldly developing innovative therapies for a range of debilitating autoimmune diseases with significant unmet patient needs. Our investigational compound, batoclimab, is a novel, fully human, monoclonal antibody targeting the neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn). Optimized as a subcutaneous injection with flexibility in dosing and approach, batoclimab is designed to reduce immunoglobin G (IgG) antibodies that cause inflammation and disease.

The Role:

This highly dynamic team is seeking an organized and entrepreneurial Contract Manager to help support all Immunovant legal matters. In this role, you will have broad exposure across a wide range of legal disciplines, including corporate and securities work, compliance, and employment law. You will be managing the legal review of contracts, contract/pricing negotiations, supplier enablement, and purchase order processing within our P2P system, Coupa. This role will support various groups across the organization, including but not limited to, CMC, Medical, Clinical Operations, Non-Clinical.

Key Responsibilities: 

Legal team support:

  • Partner closely with Immunovant’s leadership team on a broad range of contracting, compliance, corporate and securities work, including maintaining compliant records as would be required of a publicly-traded company
  • Draft, review, and organize contracts, agreements, and other legal and corporate documentation
  • Manage execution of legal documents and annuity database
  • Assist with urgent legal requests after hours as needed
  • Train new hires on how to use SpringCM Platform and manage the system by uploading and maintaining files

Finance team support:

  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure compliance with company’s contract-to-pay process
  • Direct and indirect procurement of goods and services, primarily for 3rd party manufacturing, testing, clinical operations, and consulting services
  • Collaborate with business owners, vendors and legal team to facilitate review of CDAs, MSAs, SOWs, Amendments, and other documents
  • Manage supplier enablement and purchase orders in Coupa
  • Provide operational support to the business
  • Special projects as needed

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum two years of experience (contract specialist/corporate and/or law firm experience preferred)
  • Must have experience working in a P2P system. Coupa experience – a plus
  • Knowledge of corporate and securities issues a plus
  • Flexibility and willingness to work on a broad range of legal matters
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial spirit; willing to go above and beyond to manage multiple projects simultaneously and achieve key objectives in a fast-paced and fluid startup environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and highly team-oriented 
  • Excellent analytical skills and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience preferred

 

Work Environment: 

  • Immunovant’s headquarters is located in New York City. The position is flexible for remote work.
