Organizational Overview:

 

Immunovant is a publicly traded, clinical stage biopharmaceutical company committed to developing innovative therapies for patients living with autoimmune diseases. We are developing IMVT-1401, a novel, fully human anti-FcRn monoclonal antibody, as a subcutaneous injection for the treatment of multiple autoimmune diseases that are mediated by pathogenic IgG antibodies. Phase 2 clinical development is ongoing with Phase 3 preparations underway.

 

The Role: 

 

The Manager, Corporate Communications will manage the execution of Immunovant’s corporate communications strategy and patient advocacy platform. This member of the team will work to raise awareness and visibility of Immunovant and its mission, vision and values. Reporting to the company's Head of Patient Advocacy, the manager of corporate communications is expected to demonstrate a full understanding of responsible corporate communications practices, while supporting the organization’s short and long-term goals. The position is responsible for continuing to enhance the positive reputation of the company through multimedia and public relations directed to multiple audiences. Additionally, this member of the team will play a key role in developing and managing Immunovant’s social media presence. The Manager, Corporate Communications will take a cross-functional leadership role in content planning as well as the development of processes that ensure compliant execution of Immunovant’s corporate communication and patient advocacy tactics.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Contribute to the ongoing advancement Immunovant’s corporate communication strategy and patient advocacy platform
  • Oversee implementation of Immunovant’s corporate social media strategy
  • Ensure consistent and accurate representation of the company mission, vision, values, culture and strategy into all communications
  • Support content creation; drafting/updating of corporate communications materials, including Q&As, social media content, fact sheets, interview briefs, key talking points and presentations
  • Manage the cross-functional content planning process, ensuring internal stakeholder engagement and alignment
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal team towards executing corporate communications plans and key tactics
  • Monitor competitive corporate communication and social media activities
  • Maintain Immunovant corporate communication vehicles, including ongoing maintenance and accuracy of the corporate website and metric analyses
  • Manage media inquiries
  • Facilitate content review processes
  • Provide on-site congress media/comms support

 

Requirements:

 

  • BA/BS required
  • 5 years of relevant corporate communications and social media experience with minimum of 2 years in the biopharmaceutical industry An excellent writer and digital content strategist/creator with a pulse on current technology and digital/social media best practices (including SEO) that drive innovative, modern corporate communications
  • Knowledgeable about the intersection of earned, owned and paid media
  • Experience with content management systems
  • A self-starter with proven ability to take a project from idea to implementation; willing to roll-up sleeves and get the job done
  • Proven ability to think strategically and creatively, connecting communications work to company objectives and priorities
  • Highly proficient with MS Office suite (especially PowerPoint)
  • Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills; able to support multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing startup environment

  • Immunovant’s headquarters is located in New York City. The position is flexible for remote work.
