Our Advisors team is comprised of some of the industry’s leading experts for electronic payments and provides payments-related professional services for financial institutions, processors, and other payment service providers.
ePayAdvisors is looking for an accomplished individual to fill a key position and play an integral role in our success. We are looking for someone who is a team player and can apply their skills and experience with a member-driven lens to perform client consulting engagements.
You must have excellent interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for building client relationships and be up to date on the ever-changing developments in payments—both legacy and emerging topics. You must be a professionally mature individual who is a self-starter and capable of developing payments-related consulting services to meet market demand and drive substantial growth for the organization.

You will report to the President of ePayAdvisors and partner with the team to develop and deliver various payments-related consulting services, from defining and implementing go-to-market and business development strategies, to managing client engagements from proposal to recommendation. You’ll also drive enhancements that propel the consulting practice forward.
Payments Industry and Association Acumen:
Are you a veteran of the financial services or payments industry and understand various payment types/rails and services organizations? The individual in this role must be passionate about payments, and about their work, their clients, and getting results. You must be detail-oriented with the ability to define problems, collect relevant data, and recommend improvements and solutions. You can effectively organize, manage, and track multiple projects simultaneously. You must be dedicated, self-motivated, and be able to exercise sound judgment, and work both independently and in a team environment.
Writing & Communicating:
Can you take a complex concept and communicate it in a way all levels of your client’s organization will understand? If so, you’ve got skills we need. While conducting payments consulting engagements you’ll develop a broad understanding of your client organization’s payments business, their challenges and opportunities. You’ll effectively synthesize what you’ve learned to produce a compelling report containing your findings and recommendations. You will need to be able to effectively communicate these discoveries in a fluid, approachable, and understandable way. Consequently, written and oral communications are key in this role as part of your external relations work.
Prospecting & Building Clients Relationships:
You will embody the company’s mission as a trusted resource for electronic payments expertise. Accomplishing this you will professionally represent the organization to the clients and the industry, identifying and pursuing new opportunities. You must have experience in developing and retaining client relationships , as well as managing your engagement pipeline to help achieve the organization’s goals.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university plus three to five years related experience required. MBA a plus. Solid knowledge of payments industry topics is needed, including a broad understanding of various payments types/rails, the competitive landscape, core bank and credit union operations, products and services, risks and regulations, etc. Demonstrated experience working with business systems and software, including but not limited to email, and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams) is preferred.
Certificates and Licenses:
One or more payments-related accreditations a plus, including Accredited ACH Professional (AAP), Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP), National Check Professional (NCP), and/or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
· Understanding of consulting practice systems, methodologies, analytics, and processes
· Experience with developing and delivering professional services, including go-to-market and business development strategies
· Ability to recognize and pursue new opportunities
· Experience creating and delivering proposals, statements of work, and engagement agreements, discussion documents, and presentations
· Experience with conducting onsite and remote consulting services
· Ability to professionally represent the organization with clients and other industry stakeholders
· Experience with the client administrative process including report writing, invoicing, and payment collection.
· Ability to identify and deploy strategies that drive the consulting practice forward
