As a Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our extensive network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, and swiftly addressing any network or server issues. Your role is crucial in maintaining the seamless operation of our blockchain data centers. You will also assist in troubleshooting and ticket creation to further assist the on-site technicians.
Job Duties
- Troubleshoot network issues and outages.
- Conduct routine maintenance and updates, including firmware updates and audits.
- Oversee the data centers from the internal software and on-site camera systems.
- Escalate issues as they arise to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to alerts and notifications from monitoring systems and customer reports.
- Identify and resolve root causes of network, software, and system issues.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders for timely incident resolution.
- Maintain detailed records of incidents and their resolutions.
- Create and upkeep documentation on network configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
- Provide regular reports on network performance and incident trends.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in network and technical operations.
- Engage in cross-functional teams for continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills
- Proficient in computer networking, protocols, and systems administration.
- Experienced with network hardware, including switches, routers, firewalls, and servers.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and other networking concepts.
- Skilled in troubleshooting network and server issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools and their integration with other systems
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, etc.
- Advanced knowledge of cryptocurrency mining processes and equipment.
- Comprehensive understanding of cryptocurrency mining concepts and ideas.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant work experience in network operations or a similar field.
- Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are highly valued.
- Experience with service desk software such as Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk, etc
- Understanding of Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies including AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure
