The Operations Director will oversee multi-site facility operations while leading, mentoring, and directing Facility and Site managers and Technicians. You will oversee the daily operations and ensure exceptional client service across our nationwide data centers. You will perform a variety of operational duties to support effective management, administration, and control of business functions. The Operations Director will also oversee the prompt and effective resolution of all services contracted by our clients while showing exceptional customer service, overall operational efficiency, and quality of business services.
Duties

Develops, manages, and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs).

Oversees budget management, resource allocation, and forecasting tools to ensure optimal use of resources and accurate planning and reporting of expenses.

Collaborates closely with the CEO, CFO, Controller, and IT Director to deliver operational and financial performance metrics.

Leads weekly meetings with teams to set strategic goals and objectives, maintain full responsibility for manufacturing workflows, track progress, and resolve project-related questions or challenges.

Serves as the primary liaison with Human Resources to coordinate department-level hiring and staffing plans.

Oversees contract workflows, reviewing estimates for materials, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Recruits, develops, and retains site managers; assigns tasks and schedules; and evaluates performance.

Identifies opportunities to enhance organizational capabilities and recommend initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, management or related field.

All appropriate licenses or permits to drive in your local area

Availability to be on call to work emergency shifts, which may include evening, nights and weekends (when needed)

Ability to travel required for training, site visits, and development of new data centers (approximately 50% of the time)
Required Skills & Equipment

5+ years of experience in a leadership position

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and technical, construction, and managerial knowledge

Knowledge of business and management, financial and accounting, project management, and human resources principles and practices.
