About the Role

The Sr. Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing national key client relationships by developing and executing business strategies that align with Precor's objectives. This individual will lead cross-functional teams, identify market opportunities, and foster strong partnerships to enhance revenue and market share. The role requires a forward-thinking, results-driven professional with a strategic mindset and the ability to translate sales data into actionable business plans.

This is a remote role that requires 50%+ travel within North America. Easy access to a major airport is crucial. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company growth targets and objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align sales strategies with overall company goals.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and partners to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions to meet their business needs.
  • Negotiate and close large, complex deals, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment on business objectives and product offerings.
  • Provide leadership in the development of sales proposals and presentations.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and prepare regular reports to inform decision-making.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and adjust plans accordingly to optimize performance.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis and market feedback.
  • Identify and pursue new markets and sales channels for business expansion.
  • Develop strategies to increase market share and expand the customer base.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Communications, or a relevant field.
  • 7+ years of selling in a Fitness environment.
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire performance with sales teams.
  • Deep understanding of CRM software and best practices.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Comprehensive knowledge of both Precor & competitor's products and services 
  • Master’s degree in business administration or related fields
  • Multi-lingual – English and one other language 

 

Pay Range: $120,000 to $150,000 

 

The pay range represents the low and high end of the anticipated pay range for this position based at our Woodinville, WA headquarters. The actual pay offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
