Site Reliability Engineer

About the Role

Precor is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team. As an SRE, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain our infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage highly available and scalable infrastructure on AWS
Utilize Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management
Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues across our Linux and Windows server environments
Implement and support effective monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions
Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability
Collaborate with security teams to automate patch management and respond to vulnerability updates.
Continuously improve system architecture and processes for maximum efficiency and security

Qualifications

Strong experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFormation
Proficient in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code management
Solid understanding of Linux and Windows server administration
Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell
Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Pay Range: $115,000 to $131,000

The pay range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our Woodinville, WA headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes. Our base salary is just one component of Precor’s total rewards strategy that also includes region-specific health and welfare benefits.
