The Supply Planner is part of a team that drives global inventory replenishment plans that meet our customers' needs. The Supply Planner will continually improve our ability to meet customer requirements by balancing the inventory requirements and customer fill rate expectations.  The position involves a high degree of interaction with Manufacturing, Sales, Accounting, Purchasing, Engineering, and other company departments and requires a solid ability to exercise independent judgment.

This is a critical role, as errors in the supply plans can decrease Precor's ability to meet customer requirements, and result in missing revenue opportunities.  The Supply Planner will report to the Supply Planning Manager and work with minimal supervision.  The Supply Planner may be asked to engage in or lead the team in special projects.

Global Inventory Replenishment Plans: Develop and optimize global inventory replenishment plans for supporting sales of finished goods, raw materials, and customer service parts to align with customer sales order and demand plan requirements.

Dynamic Plan Adjustments: Continuously monitor business conditions and make dynamic adjustments to plans to achieve inventory and revenue goals effectively.

Data Utilization: Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Demand Requirements Planning (DRP) systems to gather global supply data over an 18 to 24-month rolling basis.

Safety Stock Management: Evaluate, update, and maintain safety stock levels across all inventory tiers and locations.

KPI-Driven Planning: Review supply plans for exceptions and manage abnormal demand while focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, working capital, customer fill rate, and inbound freight optimization.

Inter-departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and production teams to implement efficient lean replenishment systems, including Kanban and Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) planning.

Phase-In and Phase-Out Planning: Develop plans for product phase-ins, phase-outs, and potential cannibalization, ensuring a smooth transition.

Special projects and a dedication to continuous improvement are also integral parts of the position

2-3 years of experience in a Supply Chain role is preferred.
