ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Software Engineer, Media Systems is responsible for developing media and embedded system software and will report to the Senior Software Engineering Manager. Precor seeks to provide superior user experiences that allow people to achieve their health and fitness goals so that they can lead the lives they desire.
This role is integral to the successful delivery of commercial software and hardware products. The role demands both software architecture work and hands-on coding throughout the project lifecycle. The position additionally works with members of non-software teams to help align tasks, schedules, and to address any issues as they arise. The role of the Senior Software Engineer, Media Systems is filled by an individual who is driven by an innovative spirit, sees solutions where others see challenges, and craves an entrepreneurial environment.
YOU BRING TO PRECOR
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of experience in embedded systems development, proficient in C/C++, with a background in Android and Linux environments, including BSP, build systems, and kernel driver development
- 2+ years of experience in AOSP
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience developing RTOS microcontroller solutions.
- 2+ years of experience with embedded Audio/Video software
- Experience with Git
- Experience with Scrum or Kanban methodologies
Base Salary: $150,000-$180,000
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our Woodinville, WA headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
