About the Role
Precor is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers throughout the Central Eastern Germany region. In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial fitness equipment located in membership-based fitness facilities.As a Field Service Technician, you are a key representative of the Precor brand and play an important role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. Success in this position requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work independently in the field.
This is a hands-on role that involves frequent physical activity, including lifting, bending, and working on equipment throughout the workday. Ideal candidates are technically skilled, service-oriented, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of equipment performance and customer satisfaction.
This is a remote, field-based position supporting customers throughout the Central Eastern Germany region, including Saxony-Anhalt, Saxony, Thuringia, and southern Brandenburg. The role requires regular travel, including driving significant distances between customer locations and service appointments throughout the day.
The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday; however, working hours may vary based on customer needs and service requirements.
Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in German, along with a strong command of English.

- Company vehicle including gas and maintenance
- Tools and parts required to perform repairs
- Company uniform
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the configuration, quality, and accuracy of Precor and Peloton products.
- Independently isolate and resolve issues raised by Precor customers.
- Troubleshoot Peloton and Precor product issues and effectively complete repairs.
- Understanding of spare parts and routine product repairs.
- Ensure specified processes, procedures, and reporting methods are followed.
- Perform preventive maintenance checks and adjustments.
- Perform product repairs and maintenance at fitness facilities and in-home.
- Provide outstanding customer service in educating customers on product repair, maintenance and usage.
- Serve as Precor product expert and brand ambassador.
- Ensure hardware, software and network of the product is functioning properly after each service.
- Properly record and replenish the inventory and spare parts in the service vehicle.
- Maintain company supplied vehicle in good working order.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Electronics, Technical School Degree as Electronics Technician, or equivalent Technical Training.
- 3+ years of experience in a technical customer service position
- Current valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Good problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot problems and think on your feet
- Moderate computer skills, capable of excellent documentation and tracking data
- Maintain a safe and clean environment at all times
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. with assistance
- Flexible schedule: ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary
