About the Role
The Sr. Sales Manager for Precor is responsible for delivering revenue and profit growth across the UK market for commercial fitness equipment by increasing market share within selected commercial segments. This role combines hands-on sales leadership, people management, and strategic account ownership through the development and maintenance of strong relationships with key customers and partners across both direct and indirect channels.
You will develop and execute UK sales strategies to ensure consistent implementation of the commercial sales plan, identify and grow key accounts, and implement account strategies that drive incremental business. The position plays a critical role in building and leading a high-performing UK sales team, improving efficiencies across the commercial business—from pre-sale through collaborative retention—and strengthening Precor’s presence across health clubs, hospitality, corporate wellness, education, and public sector segments. Selling skills, leadership, passion for the fitness industry, customer service, integrity, and professionalism are essential to success in this role. You will be responsible for increasing brand awareness, expanding our commercial footprint, and scaling market share. This role is ideal for an experienced Sales Leader within the fitness industry who can think strategically and positively, takes initiative, is impact-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires regular travel within the UK to attend meetings with managers, internal teams, and customers. Occasional international travel may also be required for meetings.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers across the fitness industry, including national accounts, multi-site operators, partners, and distributors.
- Work closely with regional and local fitness clubs to grow the Precor Commercial business and UK market share across direct and indirect channels.
- Develop and execute a clear, actionable UK business plan, translating EMEA strategy into sales plans that define activities, territory coverage, and processes to deliver revenue and profitability targets.
- Own budgeting, sales forecasting, pipeline management, and KPI tracking, conducting regular forecasting and performance reviews to ensure target delivery.
- Ensure timely, professional, and accurate follow-up on all sales leads, opportunities, and customer enquiries, driving disciplined CRM adoption across the team.
- Prepare, present, and lead sales proposals and tenders, including pricing, credit terms, delivery, service, and leasing options, and manage complex, high-value negotiations as required.
- Deliver effective sales presentations to customer stakeholders at all levels, personally leading strategic opportunities where appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Service, delivery, and service teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to delivery and to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement joint key account strategies with partners, retaining ownership of selected national and strategic accounts to drive incremental growth.
- Deliver forecasted sales revenue and profitability across partner and distributor markets in line with agreed targets, ensuring distributor performance within assigned territories.
- Collect and analyse market and customer data to identify growth opportunities, support project prioritisation, and inform bid strategy.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics that may impact Precor sales.
- Lead, coach, and develop the UK sales team, setting clear objectives, KPIs, and territory plans, embedding a high-performance culture aligned to UK growth plans.
- Act as the UK voice into EMEA and US leadership forums and partner with Marketing on demand generation, events, and product launches.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Communications, or a relevant field.
- 7+ years of experience in B2B sales within fitness equipment, sports, and equipment manufacturing
- Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proven experience leading and developing field-based sales teams
- Strong record of achieving team and individual sales targets
- Experience managing complex key accounts and national contracts
- Excellent commercial, negotiation, and forecasting skills
- Deep understanding of CRM software and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of both Precor & competitor's products and services
- Master’s degree in business administration or related fields
- Exposure to hospitality, corporate wellness, or public sector tenders
- Experience working within a matrixed EMEA or global organisation
