About the Role

The Distribution Coordinator works in the warehouse overseeing the release of all shipments to the floor to be staged, scanned and loaded. This person will release orders from SAP, stage and verify orders and shipments, load and unload trailers, use RF scanners, and track inventory. They are also responsible for scheduling pickup with carriers and getting quotes for LTL and FTL shipments.

Cycle counting will also be completed as part of the inventory control program. This position reports to the Distribution Manager and is a critical piece in the communication between all internal and external customers.

This position is working 1st shift and requires schedule flexibility, as dictated by business demand and available resources.

Shift: 8am-5pm, Monday- Friday.

Pay Range: $23.00 to $25.00

 

Responsibilities

  • Releasing and staging orders and shipments.
  • Pulls orders from pick sheet, pulling stock using FIFO system.
  • Verifies orders and shipments visually on the floor as well as using RF barcode scanning technology and warehouse to verify order accuracy.
  • Running open order reports to ensure all shipments are released to the floor.
  • Creating schedules to ensure warehouse employees are pulling orders by shipping schedule.
  • Getting quotes for all shipments.
  • Responsible for International paperwork needed for exports (packing list, SLI, commercial invoices and VGM.

 

Qualifications

  • High School diplomas or GED required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Shipping and Warehouse processes and tools.
  • Strong attention to details, highly organized, computer literate.
  • Ability to learn applicable safety policies and procedures, including Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and the ability to apply workplace and job-site safety standards.
  • Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
  • Basic math, reading, and communication skills.
  • Must be able to comply with Precor Attendance Policy.
  • Must be able to be certified to drive forklifts.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in Inventory Control.
  • Prior SAP experience.
  • Prior forklift operation experience.

 

Working Environment

Work is performed indoors in a heated modern factory space.  Ambient working temperature may range from 50 F – 90 F, depending on the season.  The work area is clean and free from wet, slippery conditions. Employees are required to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection and gloves.  A respirator may be required if applicable.

  • Ability to lift to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to frequently (6-8 hrs.): talk and/or hear, see, stand, use hands, reach at or above the shoulder.

  • Ability to occasionally (2-4 hrs.): walk, lift floor to waist, reach above the shoulder, push, and pull using wheeled carts and bins.
  • Ability to on a rare basis (0-2 hrs.): Sit, kneel, or crawl, stoop or squat, twist, use of feet (foot pedals), lifting shoulder to overhead, climb (small ladder) or balance.

 

The pay range represents the low and high end of the anticipated pay range for this position based at our Woodinville, WA headquarters. The actual pay offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
