About the Role

The Director of Marketing Operations, will be responsible for serving as a strategic leader using data-driven decisions to join marketing and operational excellence. This role will oversee the systems, processes, and analytics that drive the marketing function, ensuring the team operates efficiently, invests wisely, and delivers measurable impact to the business. This role requires a balance of strategic vision and tactical execution leading the marketing operations roadmap, driving cross-functional alignment, and enabling the marketing team to scale with precision.

 

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the marketing operations vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Partner with senior leaders across marketing, sales, product, and finance on data, goals, and growth strategies.
  • Oversee the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of marketing technology, looking carefully at usability, adoption, and data integrity.
  • Design and implement scalable processes to improve campaign execution, lead management, and funnel tracking.
  • Continuously simplify and streamline workflows, avoiding unnecessary customization and complexity.
  • Establish a unified approach to marketing analytics and reporting.
  • Track and report on the full marketing funnel (volume, velocity, conversion, and value) across multiple dimensions such as industry, geo, and persona.
  • Partner with finance to measure marketing ROI, including customer acquisition cost (CAC) and lifetime value (LTV) by acquisition channel.
  • Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for marketing and senior leaders.
  • Administer and track the marketing budget, ensuring accurate allocation and reporting.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors to maximize value and efficiency.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing operations, revenue operations, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce and PowerBI.
  • Ability to influence cross-functionally at all levels.
  • Strong background in marketing technology platforms.
  • Proven track record of building scalable processes and systems to support growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate partnership opportunities.
  • Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Account Engagement/Pardot, Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics.

 

Pay Range: $193,000 to $220,000 

The pay range represents the low and high end of the anticipated pay range for this position based at our Woodinville, WA headquarters. The actual pay offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
