About the Role
As the Director of Global Planning, you will lead a globally diverse team of talented planning professionals toward a world-class standard of excellence. This is a high-impact leadership role with direct accountability for aligning global demand and supply strategies across omni-channel markets. You will be the architect and driver of our end-to-end S&OP process, combining data-driven decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic foresight.
This role demands a seasoned leader with rich experience running S&OP at the Senior Leadership Team level, synthesizing complex supply chain data into strategic insights that drive executive alignment and business performance. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Supply Chain and Operations, and Finance to ensure our global planning functions support growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Reporting to Sr. Director of Supply Chain Strategy. This position will be expected to travel to our Seattle-area headquarters (Woodinville, WA) as needed, based on key meetings, business priorities, and planning cycle requirements.
Responsibilities
- Global Leadership & Talent Development:
Lead, inspire, and grow a high-performing, cross-regional planning team with a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation. - Executive-Level S&OP Leadership:
Design and facilitate monthly S&OP cycles with the Senior Leadership Team, providing strategic insights, scenario modeling, and recommendations to support company-wide decision-making and long-range planning. - Omni-Channel Demand & Supply Planning:
Manage the integration of demand and supply planning across all go-to-market channels (B2B, B2C, and distributor), ensuring forecast accuracy, product availability, and customer experience. - ERP System Expertise – SAP:
Leverage deep knowledge of SAP and enterprise planning systems to manage data integrity, streamline workflows, and enhance global planning accuracy. - Advanced Tool Development:
Build and optimize Excel-based planning tools that support forecasting, inventory simulation, executive dashboards, and KPI tracking—bridging gaps between enterprise systems and real-time needs. - Cross-Functional Partnership:
Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to align on forecast inputs, product lifecycle transitions, and supply-side risks and opportunities. - Long-Term Capacity & Scenario Planning:
Own the 3-year strategic plan, medium-term RCCP (Rough-Cut Capacity Planning), and short-term demand/supply balancing to enable proactive investment and operational decisions. - Process Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
Champion best practices in forecasting, consensus planning, and inventory optimization—driving continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence across the global planning landscape.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, business, data analytics or related field.
- 8+ years of leadership experience in S&OP, manufacturing planning, and end to end supply chain strategy , including direct engagement with the Senior Leadership Team.
- Proven success leading globally distributed teams and influencing senior stakeholders across functions and regions.
- Expertise in SAP and advanced ERP systems for forecasting, planning, and inventory optimization.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including model building, scenario planning, and executive dashboard development.
- Strong skills in data analytics, with hands-on experience in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, and familiarity with SQL or Python for building queries and extracting actionable insights.
- Deep understanding of omni-channel dynamics, product lifecycle management, and demand/supply variability.
- Track record of driving strategic planning initiatives and delivering measurable improvements in service, cost, and inventory performance.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with a talent for translating data into business narratives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- Microsoft Office Suite certification
- Experience working with global manufacturing and supply networks, especially in the fitness, consumer products, or high-mix/low-volume environments.
The pay range represents the low and high end of the anticipated pay range for this position based at our Woodinville, WA headquarters. The actual pay offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
