About the Role

The Inventory Control Specialist position covers various aspects of inventory control, such as performing daily cycle counts, tracking inventory metrics, and maintaining accurate inventory levels to ensure product availability. The specialist collaborates with various teams to track inventory movements, monitor stock levels, and implement effective inventory control strategies. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role.

This position reports to the Inventory Control Manager.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform Cycle Counts for multiple storage locations.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies, record variances, and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist in coordination and data entry during physical inventories.
  • Works with the Receiving team to facilitate Stock Transfer Orders and Material Requisition Orders.
  • Collaborate with warehouse personnel to optimize inventory layout, storage, and retrieval processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements related to inventory management.
  • Communicate inventory status and issues to management and other relevant stakeholders.

 

Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Experience using inventory control software and databases (e.g., SAP, Oracle, et al.).
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and order fulfillment processes.
  • Strong attention to detail; excellent organizational skills; ability to multi-task
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members, stakeholders, and management.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to resolve inventory-related issues.

 

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is a plus
  • Experience with computerized inventory systems required.
  • Forklift operator certification preferred.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.

 

Pay Range: $23.00 - $26.50/hr 

 

The pay range represents the low and high end of the anticipated pay range for this position based at our Woodinville, WA headquarters. The actual pay offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
