About the Role

This role will based in the China Shanghai WGQ Warehouse.

This role requires that candidates speak both Mandarin and English.

The Specialist, Distribution & Transportation, is responsible for executing Precor warehouse management and delivery. Highly involved in communication with 3rd party to conduct efficient warehouse management. This position will receive material from outside vendors, process transactionally and route to destination. The candidate must be familiar with ERP system, understanding the process of receiving, processing, storing, routing, and distributing property and materials. Cycle counting will also be completed as part of the inventory control program. This position reports to the Supervisor, Distribution and based in the Warehouse

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop vendor delivery schedule and work with 3rd party to receive products from our plant and outside vendors.
  • Work with 3rd party to ship products to customers.
  • Deal with logistics issues & emergencies.
  • Acting as a point of contact during sales with related parties: communicate with order management, forwarders, customs brokers, clients, etc.
  • Create and send export documentation to customers, including commercial invoices, packing lists, etc.
  • Issue regular shipment status reports and attend meetings with Sales (especially EMEA).
  • Process SAP transactions– inbound & outbound, inventory management.
  • Report discrepancies of both goods received and inventory on daily basis.
  • Prepare COO certification for export customers.
  • Check logistic billing & make payments.
  • Stock reports & analysis, participation in cycle count and physical inventory.
  • Exhibition support.
  • Attends regularly scheduled department meetings.
  • Assist manager to improve logistic process.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, majoring in Logistics or Supply Chain will be prioritized.
  • 2+ years of experience in a receiving position.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of shipping and warehouse processes and tools.
  • Strong attention to details, highly organized, computer literate.
  • Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good MS office skills, excel is critical.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Background in inventory control.
  • Prior SAP experience.
