About the Role
The Receiving Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory procedures for incoming goods. This employee is responsible for unloading delivery trucks and checking incoming shipments against product invoices, organizing, storing shipments, and stocking production lines.
Overall, the Receiving Associate is responsible for inventory accuracy, receiving, and shipping transactions as well as daily warehouse duties. This position utilizes a forklift 80% of the day.
Shift: Monday - Thursday 6am to 4:30pm, Friday 6am to 10am
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Responsibilities
- Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately.
- Inspect shipments for damages and accurate quantities.
- Compares packing list to company purchase orders and ensuring that the products in each delivery match the packing list.
- Report damages and discrepancies to the appropriate person.
- Match shipment paperwork to physical product and purchase order for accurate inventory records.
- Participation in daily cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Assists the team with daily goals and 5S’s projects.
- Perform daily warehouse job duties and functions for safety, accuracy and efficiency.
- Actively pursue continuous improvement and ease of doing business to meet or exceed customer needs and to further overall company and departmental goals and objectives.
- Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the receiving area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- 1+ year Receiving experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Shipping and Warehouse processes and tools.
- Strong attention to detail in fast paced environment.
- Computer, data entry and calculation skills.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to comply with Precor Attendance Policy.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds or more.
- Understanding of inventory flow.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of SAP preferred not required.
- 1 year experience operating a forklift or reach lift, preferred but not required.
The pay range represents the low and high end of the anticipated pay range for this position based at our Woodinville, WA headquarters. The actual pay offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
