About the Role

The Sr. Manager, Order Management is responsible for leading the global order management function, ensuring seamless execution across the order-to-cash (O2C) cycle. This role drives operational excellence by optimizing ERP (SAP), Salesforce.com (SFDC), and order processing systems, improving order accuracy, and enhancing collaboration across sales, finance, supply chain, and customer service.

 

As a key leader at Precor, this role will manage escalations, resolve complex order-related challenges, and ensure a best-in-class customer experience. The Sr. Manager will play a pivotal role in building a high-performing team, instilling a culture of accountability, and fostering trust across the organization.

The Sr. Manager will identify and implement efficiencies in the order management workflow, ensuring that order fulfillment, invoicing, and revenue recognition processes align with business objectives.

 

Responsibilities

Order Management & O2C Optimization

  • Oversee the end-to-end order management process, ensuring accurate order entry, validation, and fulfillment.
  • Lead the execution of pricing, freight, and installation processes to ensure costs are recovered and revenue is optimized.
  • Monitor order accuracy, fulfillment rates, and backlog, driving continuous improvements in order cycle times.
  • Work closely with finance to ensure alignment on invoices, revenue recognition, and credit policies.
  • Leverage Salesforce.com to track order status, manage customer interactions, and enhance visibility into the order pipeline.

 

ERP & Process Automation

  • Lead ERP and Salesforce optimization efforts to improve order processing efficiency, system integrations, and automation.
  • Partner with IT and Operations to implement enhancements that reduce errors, increase automation, and improve visibility into the O2C process.
  • Ensure proper SAP and SFDC setup for new products, including bills of materials, pricing, and order flow requirements.

 

Escalation & Issue Resolution

  • Act as the primary escalation point for order-related issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance to proactively identify risks, mitigate bottlenecks, and improve customer experience.
  • Work cross-functionally to resolve disputes related to pricing, order changes, and credit approvals.

 

Team Development & Leadership

  • Manage, mentor, and develop the Order Management team, fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and trust.
  • Set clear expectations, provide coaching, and develop career growth opportunities for team members.
  • Conduct performance reviews, recommend salary actions, and drive continuous improvement in team capabilities.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations to streamline order processes and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a key liaison on new product introductions (NPI) to ensure seamless order setup and fulfillment execution.
  • Support the development and implementation of quoting and order management policies to improve efficiency.

 

Reporting & Performance Management

  • Develop and maintain monthly order performance reports, analyzing order trends, fulfillment gaps, and revenue risks.
  • Provide executive-level insights into order health, backlog trends, and opportunities for process optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, and audit requirements related to order processing.
  • Use Salesforce reporting and dashboards to provide real-time visibility into order pipeline and key performance metrics.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in order management, order-to-cash, supply chain, or related roles, with 4+ years of leadership experience.
  • Proven experience managing ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Salesforce.com (SFDC), driving system enhancements, and improving order processing workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify order processing issues, mitigate revenue risks, and enhance efficiency.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and build trust across the organization.
  • Experience leading change management initiatives, ensuring team adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to execute cross-functional initiatives that improve order operations.
  • Experience leading large-scale ERP and Salesforce implementations or upgrades.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the fitness industry.
  • MBA or Advanced Degree.

 

Pay Range: $130,000 to $150,000

 

The pay range represents the low and high end of the anticipated pay range for this position based at our WA based headquarters. The actual pay offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
