About the Role 

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team at Precor in the role of Snr Account Manager. This position will be instrumental in cultivating and nurturing business relationships with defined key accounts, with a primary focus on driving revenue and sustainable growth. Key responsibilities include developing and executing tailored sales strategies, ensuring the seamless management of cross-border activities for key accounts, and facilitating communication of terms and conditions to relevant stakeholders. 

Working closely with the Sales Manager and collaborating across departments within Precor, the Snr Account Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional customer experience for our key accounts. Essential attributes for success in this role include strong selling skills, adept project management abilities, persuasive communication, dedicated customer service, diligent follow-up, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. 

 

Responsibilities 

Relationship Management: 

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and the Key Account community. 

  • Assess performance and manage customer expectations for positive outcomes. 

  • Represent Precor at trade shows, fostering professional client relationships. 

  • Establish win/win relationships with customers and stakeholders. 

Strategy Development: 

  • Develop detailed customer profiles and strategic plans. 

  • Collaborate with the Head of Sales to forecast sales volume and identify growth opportunities. 

  • Present plans and strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets. 

  • Gather market data to innovate and tap into new market segments. 

  • Assist in setting performance goals and managing business plans. 

Sales & Commercial Execution: 

  • Communicate Precor's goals and programs effectively. 

  • Prepare quotes, contracts, and resolve customer issues promptly. 

  • Provide sales reports, forecasts, and manage opportunities. 

  • Manage customer project meetings and oversee the customer journey. 

  • Coordinate with design team for facility refurbishments. 

  • Estimate delivery dates and maintain sales data in Salesforce CRM. 

  • Lead the customer journey with Precor. 

Other: 

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and freight program development under the guidance of the Sales Manager. 

  • This role is field based with extensive phone work, moderate computer use and 50% travelling per year to visit customers and local events/trade shows. There is some light physical effort which includes lifting of parts/products. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree emphasis in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field  

  • 5+ years of experience as an Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or relevant role 

  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization 

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time whole maintaining sharp attention to detail  

  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs  

  • Proven ability to manage multiple account management projects at a time while maintaining attention to detail  

  • Skilled in delivering presentations, seminars, and sales proposals. 

  • Familiarity with fitness equipment and industry practices. 

  • Knowledgeable about commercial fitness market trends and business practices. 

  • Proficient in management, leadership, and sales processes. 

  • Ability to build relationships with key decision-makers. 

  • Capable of diplomatically identifying and resolving customer needs. 

  • Skilled in developing strategies and action plans, with the ability to monitor results. 

  • Proficient in oral and written communication. 

  • Responsive and adaptable in fast-paced environments. 

  • Proficient in using various computer programs and systems for tracking results 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in a Fitness Marketplace. 

  • Experience with top Key accounts. 

 

Pay Range: $150,000-$192,000
