About the Role
The Senior Accountant will help manage and support Precor’s Finance Accounting team. This candidate will be responsible for taking ownership of the end-to-end workstream processes related to accounting for a variety of business processes. This candidate will challenge the status quo in order to develop and implement best practices within our accounting and financial reporting processes. The candidate will have knowledge of U.S. GAAP, business process design, internal controls, and experience working with external auditors. They are an analytical thinker who enjoys working cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the month-end close processes for assigned areas, including daily interaction with internal business partners and external auditors.
- Ensure data compliance for assigned Balance Sheet accounts and fluctuation reviews across all relevant systems.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and related balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Peer review of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist in maintaining Fixed Asset subledger including the tracking of all construction in progress, assist in organizing the transfer of completed fixed assets, maintain asset subledger, post relevant entries to ERP system and asset inventory audits.
- Coordination of leasing contracts for financial reporting including gathering all relevant data, maintain contracts in CoStar, post relevant entries to ERP system and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
- Investigate reporting discrepancies and communicate issues as they occur in a timely manner.
- Develop robust documentation around SOX-compliant internal controls, and ensure all controls are performed and documented in a manner that will meet requirements of both internal and external auditors.
- Continually improve business processes through automation, thoughtful analysis, and researching best practices in the industry.
- Support business processes by partnering with other departments, including but not limited to AP, Peloton HQ Finance groups, and various Precor operations.
- Assist in daily, monthly and annual reporting needs.
- Partake in ad hoc team projects and analysis, as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of relevant Accounting experience with understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Excellent communication skills; proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external business partners at various levels
- Proactive self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced environment and an ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet pressing deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excell and SAP
- Experience working with various systems, including but not limited to SAP, CoStar, Coupa, or Sage/Fixed Assets
Preferred Qualifications

Pay Range: $85,000 to $93,700
The pay range represents the low and high end of the anticipated pay range for this position based at our Woodinville, WA headquarters. The actual pay offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
