WindFarm Marketing is an award-winning inbound marketing agency located in Rocklin, California. We are looking to expand our team of marketers with someone who has solid, client-side, agency experience and a background in delivering digital and content marketing solutions to mid-sized or enterprise brands. Our agency specializes in growing B2C brands online, especially health and fitness companies.

ROLE SUMMARY


The Digital Marketing Account Director, in a remote capacity, is responsible for developing and delivering ROI-driven digital marketing strategy, exceptional client service, and remarkable project management for a portfolio of WindFarm client partnerships.


A Day In The Life Of...


At WindFarm, our Digital Marketing Account Directors know they are responsible for client success and have a knack for delivering an extraordinary client experience. You will deliver exceptional client service through delivering and optimizing digital (inbound) marketing strategy and lead generation campaigns for a diverse set of clients. Variety is the spice of life for a Digital Marketing Account Director and a typical day could involve any of these tasks:


  • Leading client communication and meetings, successfully navigating sophisticated marketing discussions with Marketing Directors, CMO's, and Owners (some with very direct opinions and challenging personalities)

  • Creating or refining audience targeting, ad creative or copy tied to social or PPC ads

  • Updating project management platform throughout the day to ensure timely deliverables

  • Managing client campaigns end-to-end (strategy, graphics delivery, promotional copy, ads, optimization and testing, analytics, and reporting) with team support

  • Creating and testing email campaigns

  • Defining lead scoring and lead nurturing marketing automation workflows

  • Generating a content strategy and blog topics for each stage of a buyer's journey

  • Writing a content order for a blog post or educational download

  • Curating content for social media posts

  • Creating an editorial calendar for a client

  • Participating in internal strategy meetings

  • Evaluating active/past campaigns, developing insights from data and recommendations for improving strategy


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE


  • Previous success working in a completely remote role

  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in the midst of challenging situations

  • Bachelors degree in sales, marketing, business administration, or related field

  • Two (2) years successful client strategy and service record for an agency managing multiple key accounts

  • Two (2) years of delivering effective digital marketing campaigns and results

  • Stellar client communication and project management skills 

  • Experience with marketing automation software (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, etc).

  • Mastery of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google AdWords advertising platforms

  • Incredible attention to detail and excellent writing skills

  • Ability to manage expectations within internal and external stakeholders

  • Healthy methods of coping with stress while navigating challenging conversations and maintaining an open and positive disposition toward others

  • Strong listening, verbal and client troubleshooting skills

  • Desire to work and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and virtual environment

  • A self-starter who thrives on responsibility and impressing clients with results

  • A voraciousness for reading and staying current on the dynamic world of digital marketing and marketing automation
