We are a dynamic 20+ year old New York company specializing in high end metalwork fabrication. We're a mid-sized shop within a 60 person company in the high end architecture and interior design sector. We're looking for an experienced CNC programmer operator to work in our machining department. We operate out of our 20,000 square foot, solar powered, LEED Gold factory in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The ideal candidate should possess:
• A "can-do" attitude
• 5+ yrs experience in lathe live tooling and 4th axis mill
• 5+ years in mastercam programming
• Thorough understanding of manual machining on lathes and mills
• The ability to communicate well in written and spoken English.
• Neatness & organization
• "Hustle" and a strong work ethic
• The ability to work overtime to meet product demand.

"A Big Plus" Knowledge of:
• Mastercam
• Okuma Captain L370MW CNC Lathe
• Control: OPS 100 control
• Haas VF-3 Vertical Machining Center
• Control: VF3 w/ Fanuc control

Your Duties Will Encompass:
• Program, Set-up, and run CNC mills and lathes from written or verbal instructions.
• Inspection of your work using standard inspection tools.
• Machine cleaning and maintenance.
