Compensation: Commensurate with education level and experience. Base compensation range is $45,000-$60,000/year;
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent, and
2+ years significant experience building frontend software systems, OR
Equivalent combination of education and experience (more professional experience and less formal education is acceptable)
Position Overview:
RoboKind is looking for a Front End Developer who is strong in Angular, React, and integrating third party UI components. The ideal candidate should have experience with Spring/MVC pattern development using Java and experience in PostgreSQL Databases. Ideally this candidate would also have experience with C# .NET Core. The position needs someone who is a problem solver, proactive, and self motivated. Experience with Developing and Securing API Microservices is a huge plus.
Primary Responsibilities
Take an idea from design concept to working implementation that will be deployed to our customers around the world
Build elegant, clean, bulletproof code that is driven by tests
Work with Lead Software Developer to ensure architectural and implementation coherence
Ensure that application components are responsive and performant on all devices
Debug issues and develop quick, robust solutions to keep systems running smoothly
Conduct proofs-of-concepts and develop prototypes
Participate in code reviews to ensure alignment with the architectural approach and to maintain a clean code base
All other duties as assigned
Skills Required
Flexibility, energy, and ability to work well with others in a team environment
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JAVA and C#
Experience with React.JS and Angular
Knowledge in UI/UX design
Experience with RESTful API design
Experience with source-control practices and Git
Bonus Skills
Developer forum (Stack Overflow, etc.) participation a plus
Experience with SQL
Experience in automated testing tools
