Position Overview:

RoboKind is hiring full and part time Project Managers to work on mid to large scale implementations across multiple organizations who implement robot hardware, software, and services for use in educational and therapeutic settings.  As our company grows and scales, you will be a critical part of our Customer Success team, who work together to implement across multiple locations within a school district/other organization.

 

Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time

 

Compensation:  Commensurate with education level and experience;  combination of base pay with bonus potential tied to customer success. Total compensation range is $60,000-$80,000/year.

 

Education Level:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, AND
  • Minimum two years of experience in a similar role, OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience 

 

Technical and Business-Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • 2 or more years of work experience as Project Manager preferred
  • Project Management certification preferred
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • Experience with and ability to use Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to use project management solutions to manage and prioritize action on complicated projects and cross functional activities
  • Previous experience managing public sector (education, state/local government, etc) projects preferred
  • ·       Ability to use various business software applications (presentation software, videoconferencing software, scheduling software, communication software, etc)
  • ·       Financial acumen
  • ·       Strong typing/keyboarding skills
  • ·       Travel experience
  • ·       Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
  • Ability to adapt and take on additional tasks and responsibilities outside of the job description as asked by leadership

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • ·       Outlining, coordinating, and developing project plans, training/PD schedules, communication plans, and multi-year implementation plans to align with customer goals
  • ·       Designing project goals and success metrics to determine how success will be measure and tracked
  • ·       Ensuring project goals are aligned with product capabilities and customer expectations
  • ·       Serving as the liaison between customers, internal developers, and leadership team members to ensure cross functional understanding of and collaboration on meeting/exceeding customers’ short- and long-term goals
  • ·       Developing trusted relationships with assigned contacts, stakeholders, and decision makers
  • ·       Identifying potential new/expanded opportunities and risks and alert the sales and management team to ensure continued and expanded success of the solution implementation
  • ·       Preparing and present Impact Reports to all contact levels on a regular basis
  • ·       Developing customer specific scopes of work that appropriately scale for the customer’s size of implementation
  • ·       Maintaining product knowledge
  • ·       Understanding and navigating through the politics, budget process, organizational structure, and other relevant details that may impact the implementation project
  • ·       Effectively using software various tools (project management software, customer relationship software, reporting software, etc) to manage information and processes
  • ·       Collaborating with internal and customer professional development teams to coordinate training and ongoing professional development that meet the needs of the customer and are able to be met by the company
  • ·       Proactively problem-solving customer issues and engage technical support, as needed
  • ·       Proactively escalating customer requests or issues as needed
  • ·       Collaborating with sales and proposals team members to scope project plans during the pre-sales process
  • ·       Traveling to onsite customer meetings from 25-50% of the time
