Position Overview:

RoboKind is looking for a talented Front-End Web Developer. This candidate will work with the development and product leadership teams developing rich web applications. We are looking for someone who can do front-end development with an eye for design and user flow. There are growth opportunities within the position for the right candidate as the company continues to expand.

Compensation:  Commensurate with education level and experience; combination of base pay with bonus potential tied to company revenue goal attainment.



Education Level:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, AND 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience


Technical and Business-Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
    • Include Portfolio of your work with resume
    • Proven experience with Angular or React, TypeScript
    • Proficiency in HTML5/CSS3 (BEM), JavaScript (ES6), jQuery, Bootstrap
    • Highly familiar with Object Oriented Programing Concepts
    • Knowledgeable about design patterns and best practices
    • Experience participating in web development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum Methodologies
    • Familiar with Object Oriented Programing Concepts
    • Experience participating in Agile development cycles
    • 3+ years' experience as a Front-End Web Developer.
    • Familiar with GIT repositories
    • Experience with Target Process
    • BA or BS degree preferred.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities include:
      • Translating the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application and create responsive, user-friendly interfaces
      • Working with product management, UI/UX designer and back end team to improve usability and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation
      • Taking an active role on both sides to help define how the application looks as well as how it works
      • Optimizing application for maximum speed and scalability
      • Building Web applications using semantic HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Angular and other modern front-end technologies
      • Collaborating and solving problems as a team
      • Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of product based on sprints/milestones
        Creating documentation for all development work
      • Clearly, effectively, and proactively communicating progress on development work to team members and other internal stakeholders on a regular basis
      • Troubleshooting issues and recommending fixes
      • ·       Anticipating, identifying, and mitigating risks/challenges/obstacles
      • ·       Proactively identifying and documenting suggestions/recommendations to improve the product and product development process
      • ·       Effectively using various business software tools (project management software, reporting software, etc) to manage information and processes
      • ·       Providing peer to peer mentoring and support
      • ·       Managing and updating all aspects of all company front end web projects
      • ·       Keeping up to date with the latest features and limits of Unity
      • ·       Helping others with their work, as needed
      • ·       Understanding and learning the mindset of our target audience/user
      • ·       Creating a great user experience for our audience
      • ·       Optimizing content to work on any platform or device
