The Role: We are implementing best-in-class onboarding practices for our employees, as well as best in class experiences for our patients and studies! To support that vision, we are looking for a Contractor/Consultant to train our Clinical Research Coordinators / Study Coordinators. The Trainer will utilize multiple methods to assist the site employees towards improving their Coordinator abilities, as well as assisting with onboarding of new staff. These methods may include: shadowing, creation of standards, 1:1 feedback sessions, role modeling, etc. The Trainer will be responsible for teaching and training staff on all coordination processes and practices, with the ability to assist employees at different levels.

The Trainer is a critical part to ensuring our site is functioning in best-in-class ways, following GCPs at all times, and ready to manage multiple new studies. The consultant should be comfortable working collaboratively in a team environment, as well as utilizing multiple training methods in order to get needed results across levels and specialties.

This consultant will assist employees in our McAllen Texas location, therefore they must be able to be onsite on a weekly basis. Hours TBD with the consultant based on availability, with a focus on repetition and responsiveness as a method to support learning retention. This is a three-month contract initially, with the ability to extend based on continuous training plans.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a clinical trials setting
  • Well versed in the conduct of clinical trials
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in Coordinator job duties
  • Experience successfully delivering training to site staff
