Qualifications
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering or closely related field
- Previous experience winning/managing. water/wastewater projects in the Texas market.
- Strong client relationships with water/wastewater clients in the Texas water market.
- Minimum 7 years experience as PM for Water / Wastewater projects, PMP Preferred
- Direct experience in the management and design of water and wastewater projects
- Experience developing and fostering client relationships
- Strong reputation among industry peers and clients
- Self-motivated with the ability to balance multiple tasks and deadlines without supervision
- Excellent communication skills (verbally and written)
- Demonstrate financial responsibility with a strong understanding of financial metrics
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in project performance oversight for water/wastewater clients
Responsibilities
- Develop new business and maintain high-value relationships with key local/regional water/wastewater clients.
- Develop and manage client teams, including project managers, technical specialists, SME's, and junior staff, to create strategic capture plans, proposals, presentations, and other business development efforts
- Grow RRP's Water/ Wastewater business in Texas and help to provide leadership to our team of professionals
- Focus on a mix of established client business growth, project delivery leadership and mentoring of engineering staff
- Build client relationships, and ensure the financial performance of client portfolios while driving business expansion
- Develop innovative solutions to add value to our clients that differentiate RRP from competitors
- Responsible for marketing to existing clients through project performance, expanding the scope of existing contracts, and identifying new project opportunities
- Responsible for client relations
- Prepare and report monthly progress on KPI's
- During project startup understand the client's critical success factors and prepare an effective project management plan
- Be available to team members to mentor junior staff and consult with the principal in charge for guidance
- During project execution, monitor the progress of the scope, budget, schedule, and quality/performance
- Assist with risk management and proactive change management
- Assist with prompt invoicing and collection
