Position Title: Nonprofit Partnerships Coordinator

Reports To: Senior Manager, Community Partnerships

Salary Range: $42,500 - $45,000/yr.

About the Role

Besa's foundation is built on nonprofit partnerships, as they play a crucial role in providing resources and infrastructure to the community. The Nonprofit Partnerships Coordinator will work alongside the Community Partnerships team to establish new partnerships and enhance the growth and sustainability of existing nonprofit partnerships. Additionally, the Nonprofit Partnerships Coordinator will act as a liaison for our nonprofit partners, ensuring a smooth volunteer experience and communications between our team of business and community coordinators.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring effective and timely communications to internal and external partners. 

  • Support the team  in prospecting new nonprofit partners locally and in communities outside of Columbus.

  • Collaborate and maintain positive relationships with nonprofit partners to implement new and transformative volunteer experiences.

  • Supply community and business coordinators with impactful volunteer experiences.

  • Maintain databases of volunteer experiences and key data for community and business partners.

  • Curate meaningful volunteer experiences in collaboration with Besa partners, such as media partners and elected government officials, to ensure impactful opportunities that align with their goals and values, promoting engagement and positive community impact.

  • Lead volunteer experiences when necessary. 

  • Support business-critical operations, including Besa supply drives, annual fundraisers, and other duties as assigned.

  • Serve on cross-collaborative internal Besa committees.

  • Cultivate strong relationships by actively participating in NFP Partner events, fundraisers, and other relevant gatherings to enhance our network, strengthen partnerships, and promote our organization's mission and values.
