The Account Manager role is a key position in driving 7 Mindsets to our next level of growth in the K12 student mental health and well-being sector. The Account Manager, reporting to the Director of Inside Sales, is responsible for managing existing customer relationships, driving growth in current customers, positioning 7 Mindsets value proposition to their existing customer base. This position encompasses solution-based sales in the K-12 market and will be charged with territory renewal and expansion of programs and services within their assigned territory. The Account Manager will identify on-going customer needs and increase overall market share.  

 

Role Expectations & Requirements:

  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce, update client information, and record all customer interactions.
  • Assist the Director of Inside Sales with annual renewal process for existing customers, produce quotes and respond to renewal questions.
  • Account management responsibilities with key accounts and upsell opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Finance team to ensure accuracy of invoicing for renewing customers.
  • Work closely with Ed Services team and Client Support to manage key accounts
  • Collaborate and communicate updates on activities/initiatives with cross-functional teams to enable different levels of customer support.
  • Responsible for growing long-term customer relationships within assigned territory.
  • Responsible for identifying key contacts, conducting customer meetings and closings sales within assigned territory.
  • Seeks to build multiple relationships within a customer account to expand existing programs and adding new implementations.
  • Effectively navigates multiple steps in the sales process demonstrating the ability to influence high level decision makers.
  • Maintain proficiency in 7 Mindsets products and services and appropriately position 7 Mindsets solutions against the competition.
  • Accurately assess and analyze customer needs and identify appropriate solutions.
  •  Prepare and deliver strategic sales presentations.
  •  Stay current and informed in federal, state, and local funding options.
  •  Maintain timely and accurate information in CRM (Salesforce.com) to track sales activity and produce accurate forecast.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and work processes throughout the selling process.
  • Produce accurate and timely forecasts as required by management

Qualifications and Skills

 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in K12 education preferred.
  • Two years of sales experience including conducting customer presentations, making outbound calls, and engaging in email & social media outreach.
  • Demonstrated experience with developing and maintaining client relationships. Ability to clearly communicate effectively, expressing requirements and expectations to a wide range of individuals
  • Excellent written communication and time management skills
  • Willingness to manage multiple tasks at once and adhere to processes and deadlines
  • Computer literate, especially email (Outlook/Teams), spreadsheets (Excel), and CRM (preferable Salesforce)
  • Cooperative and communicative attitude with team
  • 1-3 years with Customer Success and/or Account Manager experience
