The SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE role is a key position in driving 7 Mindsets to our next level of growth in the K12 social-emotional learning and student mental health and wellness sector. This position’s focus will be to build a robust and qualified pipeline to meet corporate goals by acting as a positive and passionate 7 Mindsets Ambassador and educating prospects in the K-12 school market on the significance of our curriculum program. This is an entry-level position for someone still early in their sales career who is hungry, and ambitious with high energy. This position requires not only the ability to speak articulately to high-level school district leaders but also the skills to follow up with clear and concise written communications.

The SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE responsibilities involve the development and implementation of…
- Research and pre-qualify leads by understanding the product requirements for prospective schools and districts to build your pipeline
- Identify decision-makers and key influencers to speak with about student mental health and wellness initiatives for Tier, 1, 2, and 3
- Call outbound as well as to inbound prospects – engaging in conversations designed to discover sales opportunities (60 dials /day on average)
- Gain commitments and schedule a brief web-based product demo/meeting or another call to action
- Work closely and collaboratively with your Regional Sales Directors to acquire new leads that will result in sales
- Fully understand the 7 Mindsets pedagogy and approach and understand how it is uniquely different than other solutions to accurately articulate unique value proposition (training provided)
- Achieve or exceed monthly individual and team KPIs
- Diligently log all activity in Salesforce.com and Salesloft
Experience & Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-2 years of work experience (This is an entry-level position)
- A strong desire to be in a fast-paced, team-oriented sales environment
- Ability to speak and write clearly and concisely
- Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, persuasion, and negotiating skills
- Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and driven with a strong desire to succeed
- High energy, enthusiastic and engaging personality, competitive, strong work ethic
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to learn and adapt to new concepts and technologies
- Ability to take direction, be coached and mentored
- Strong web and computer skills: MS Office, familiarity with Salesforce.com is preferred or other CRM tools
