The Opportunity

We are hiring an innovative and results-oriented, virtually based Regional Sales Director, reporting to the RVP Sales. This team member will be passionate about our product and the meaningful difference it can make with students and educators. The position demands autonomy in closing new customer deals within the territory and adherence to established processes for seamless lead transition and customer acquisition.

Role Expectations & Requirements:

 

    • Build and maintain a pipeline via Salesforce.com of prospect clients based on a pipeline-to-quota ratio of minimum 3:1.

    • Collaborate with RVP to prepare forecasts, territory/industry management, and growth plans, ensuring that the regional sales

      plan is aligned with and supports the corporate revenue goal.

    • Autonomously close deals and meet aggressive sales goals, monitoring sales quotas for a specific area or region, developing

      sales strategies, and adjusting existing techniques to increase revenues and achieve profitability goals.

    • Consultatively and effectively present the value proposition of the 7 Mindsets solution stack, via virtual technology or F2F

      setting.

    • Establish, nurture, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners and customers to maximize sales

      opportunities, increase market share, customer base, and revenue.

    • Track opportunities daily/weekly via Salesforce and report on sales metrics in accordance with company policies, procedures,

      and best practice methodology to ensure accurate pipelining.

    • Learn and maintain product knowledge, state/industry trends, and competitive landscape, including detailed knowledge of

      competitor positioning, implementations, and pricing, providing timely and relevant feedback to management on significant

      industry factors including competitive products, regulations, trends, customer needs, and pricing.

    • Support the effective implementation and utilization of technology and processes, working seamlessly with cross-functional

      teams for a smooth transition of MQLs and new ARR.

    • Engage cross departmentally with positive, creative collaboration that promotes success.

    • Travel as needed to conduct face to face meetings with potential clients and internal employees, in accordance with company

      policies and procedures.

 

Qualification and Skills:

 

    • Process, data driven sales background, with proven success using Salesforce.com to build trackable, repeatable sales processes.

    • Willingness to “roll up the sleeves” and sell with a consultative solution orientated mindset.

    • Must be adaptable, professional, courteous, motivated and work well on own or as a member of a team.

    • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and challenging workload.

    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance objectives (revenue targets, pipeline targets, etc.).

    • Experience utilizing CRM systems and marketing automation systems (such as salesforce, market, outreach etc.)

    • Prior employment selling (quota carrying) in EdTech is required.
