Modern Family Law, a boutique law firm specializing in Family Law, is looking for a compassionate, innovative, and respected Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team. Modern Family Law offers dynamic compensation, a wide array of benefit selections, and a culture built on family.

We are seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality solutions on the Salesforce platform. The position is critical in leading us toward achieving excellence in operational efficiency by balancing considerations across custom development, system integration, and user collaboration. This is a great opportunity to work on impactful projects in an exciting, fast-paced environment.

This is primarily a Work-from-Home position, with flexibility to accommodate occasional in-person collaboration if needed.

To be successful in this role, the incumbent in this position would be expected to do the following:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy business solutions on Salesforce using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and JavaScript.
  • Manage and enhance the Salesforce environment, implementing improvements and deploying new functionality.
  • Build integrations with third-party services using REST, SOAP, and other API technologies, while developing APIs for external use.
  • Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot applications, and document system functionality.
  • Continuously improve platform performance, ensuring security and scalability.
  • Provide system administration support for customized applications, including user permissions, security settings, custom objects, and workflows.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide timely solutions, and ensure user needs are met.
  • Support the implementation of best practices for coding standards, design, and optimization.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

 

Position Requirements

As our culture is remote-first, all employees are expected to have the capability to work from home with a reliable internet connection and to set up a workstation that supports productive work during normal business hours.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Salesforce Administrator and Developer Certification (Platform Developer I/II).
  • Strong experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, SOQL, and SOSL.
  • Proficiency in integrating Salesforce with other applications (real-time, batch, sync/async).
  • Excellent knowledge of Salesforce permissions, roles, reports, dashboards, and logical formulas.
  • Experience with complex project work and handling large-scale Salesforce implementations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Suite, Adobe, and Zoom.
  • Candidates who speak additional languages (e.g., Spanish, Japanese, Cantonese, Tagalog) are strongly encouraged to apply.

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually. The range presented is a reliable estimate of the base salary expected for this position. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and job-related factors. Full-time employees may be eligible for health insurance with optional Flexible Spending or Health Savings Accounts, short-term disability, long-term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, 401(k) retirement, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.

Additional voluntary programs include voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life insurance, voluntary disability, long-term care, critical illness and cancer insurance, and pet insurance. Commuter and transit programs may also be available in certain markets.
