Modern Family Law, the nation's largest and most innovative law firm dedicated strictly the practice of Family Law for families of all backgrounds, is looking for a compassionate, innovative, and respected Talent Expansion Recruiting Specialist in Washington State to work with our Firm’s People & Culture team to help with Firm expansion efforts. The Talent Expansion Recruiting Specialist supports the organization’s growth and expansion efforts by coordinating and executing recruitment activities under the direction of the Talent Expansion Supervisor. This role focuses on sourcing, engaging, and onboarding top talent for new locations, ensuring that hiring needs align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, detail-oriented professional passionate about building teams and supporting a positive candidate experience.

To be successful in this role, the incumbent in this position would be expected to do the following:

  • Assist in full-cycle recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate sourcing, application screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial candidate assessments.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Expansion Manager to create customized hiring plans for new location openings.
  • Leverage online platforms, social media, community outreach, and professional networks to identify and engage qualified candidates.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective candidates for critical roles in expansion markets.
  • Ensure a seamless and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Act as a point of contact for candidates, addressing inquiries and providing updates on their application status.
  • Support scheduling and coordination of interviews, both in-person and virtual, ensuring timely communication between candidates and hiring teams.
  • Assist with onboarding activities, including new hire orientations and ensuring proper documentation is completed.
  • Work closely with regional managers, HR teams, and other stakeholders to gather hiring needs and provide recruitment updates.
  • Attend job fairs, networking events, and community outreach programs to support employer branding efforts.
  • Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and provide reports on recruitment metrics as needed.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify innovative recruitment opportunities.

 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Candidates with two or more years of experience in talent acquisition or human resources, and experience supporting high-volume or location-based hiring, will receive preference.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment tools, ATS systems, and social media recruiting platforms.
  • As our culture is remote-first, all employees are expected to have the capability to work from home with a reliable internet connection and to set up a workstation that supports productive work during normal business hours.
  • High-level knowledge and experience working with the Microsoft Suite of products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Adobe; and Zoom Conferencing Technology.

  • Position periodically requires off-site work at a war room or the courthouse when the case goes to trial.
  • Position also requires the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
  • Able to sit for extended periods of time at a desk while typing, using a mouse, and looking at a computer screen.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as necessary to handle routine or emergent issues.
  • Able to communicate verbally and in writing using a telephone, text messaging, or emails.
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend over, and lift items from the ground exceeding 10lbs to a height from between one’s waist to eye level.

Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000. This range is a reasonably reliable estimate of the base salary that this individual is expected to receive. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, billable hour expectations, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full-time employees may be eligible for health insurance with an optional HSA, short-term disability, long-term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, healthcare and dependent care flexible spending accounts, 401(k), vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.

Additional voluntary programs include voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary long-term care, voluntary critical illness and cancer insurance, and pet insurance. Commuter and transit programs may also be available in certain markets.
