We are looking for a Legal Talent Recruiter to manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a seamless and professional candidate experience while sourcing top-tier talent to join our growing team. This is a critical role in maintaining the firm's standards of excellence and fostering a dynamic, inclusive, and collaborative workplace.

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates for this role must be physically located in the state of Texas and within a 30-minute commutable distance (by any means) to one of the Firm's three Texas locations which are as follows:

  • Austin: 4314 Medical Parkway, Ste 100, Austin, Texas 78756
  • Dallas: 7557 Rambler Road, Dallas, Texas 75231
  • San Antonio: 70 NE Interstate 410 loop, San Antonio, Texas 78216

The Firm will not be able to sponsor candidates for this role and will only accept candidates who are able to report to the nearest office once per week to assist with administrative tasks, as necessary.

To be successful in this role, the incumbent in this position would be expected to do the following:

  • Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including posting, editing, refreshing, and removing job postings as needed.
  • Source and recruit legal talent to fill positions in current or future firm locations under the guidance of departmental leadership.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for job seekers, ensuring a positive and professional candidate experience.
  • Develop thoughtful and professional relationships with candidates to positively represent the firm.
  • Recruit and source top talent in alignment with strategies outlined by the Director of People & Culture, Legal Talent Recruiting Manager, and Chief Executive Officer.
  • Review candidate applications, including resumes, cover letters, and writing samples, and exercise independent judgment to evaluate qualifications.
  • Conduct phone interviews, document observations, and identify candidates for further consideration.
  • Schedule and facilitate interviews between hiring managers and candidates, ensuring compliance with inclusivity standards and labor laws.
  • Collaborate with People & Culture team members on compensation, benefits, and offer packages.
  • Prepare accurate offer letters and onboarding documents for selected candidates.
  • Participate in collaborations with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief of Staff, Recruiting Partner, and Director of People & Culture.
  • Support onboarding tasks for new hires in coordination with the People & Culture Coordinator and Manager.

 

Position Requirements

  • Reliable remote work setup, including a high-speed internet connection and a functional workstation.
  • High school diploma or GED required; an undergraduate degree in human resources is preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of recruiting experience.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and ATS systems, including familiarity with Salesforce.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe, and Zoom.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and emergent issues.
  • Ability to work evenings or weekends as necessary.
  • Capacity to handle routine or urgent issues in a remote-first work environment.

Compensation and Benefits: Salary Range: $65,000–$80,000, adjusted for experience, location, and job-related factors. Eligible for incentives tied to role-specific tasks. Comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, HSA/FSA options, short-term and long-term disability, dental and vision care, life insurance, 401(k), vacation, sick time, and access to an employee assistance program. Additional voluntary benefits include accident insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, critical illness insurance, long-term care insurance, and pet insurance. Commuter and transit benefits may be available in some locations.
