Modern Family Law, a renowned law firm specializing in Family Law, is seeking a compassionate, innovative, and respected Paralegal to join our amazing team in Seattle, Washington. To be successful in this role, the incumbent in this position would be expected to do the following:
- Handle a variety of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and property division, making a meaningful impact on clients' lives.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple competing responsibilities.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and outstanding communication skills in both written and verbal interactions.
- Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff, ensuring collective success and efficiency in case management.
- Primarily work from home, but attend required in-person client meetings at the office when necessary.
Position Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in family law.
- Exceptional writing skills, demonstrated through professional writing samples.
- Proven experience working with multiple attorneys in a law firm setting.
- Proficiency in e-filing with County Courts.
- Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey legal concepts.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A customer service mindset with a strong focus on providing exceptional client experiences.
- Strong references that attest to your expertise and professionalism.

Notes on Compensation: This range is a reasonably reliable estimate of the base salary that this individual is expected receive. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, billable hour expectations, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
