The Retail & Hospitality Information Sharing and Analysis Center (RH-ISAC) is the trusted community for sharing sector-specific cybersecurity information and intelligence. The RH-ISAC connects information security teams at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels to work together on issues and challenges, share leading practices, and benchmark among each other – all with the goal of building better security for consumer-facing industries through collaboration. RH-ISAC serves retailers, restaurants, hotels, gaming casinos, travel, food retailers, consumer products and other consumer-facing companies.

As a member of our team, the cyber intelligence engagement analyst reports to the director of strategic partnerships and engagement. This position is responsible for leading RH-ISAC’s member-focused technical collaboration programs and facilitating the operational exchange of threat intelligence. The Lead drives execution across member working groups, tool-based collaboration channels, and intelligence engagement forums, ensuring content is actionable, technically grounded, and aligned to the security priorities of core members. By coordinating cross-functional efforts and integrating member contributions, the analyst plays a central role in leading analysis and response activities that enable members to mature their security operations and risk management programs; optimize their investigative and defensive tools, tactics, and procedures; develop content and deliverables for working groups and special interest groups; and publish guidance and create templates needed for threat intelligence collections/investigations and supporting trusted relationships across the RH-ISAC community.


 

Program Leadership & Member Engagement

  • Lead and evolve working groups and technical communities across high-priority domains (e.g., third-party risk, dark web monitoring, fraud, identity, OT, vulnerability management).
  • Take initiative in managing assigned collaboration initiatives, including developing agendas, drafting follow-up action items, and ensuring continued momentum between sessions.
  • Collaborate with RH-ISAC members to identify focus areas, develop agendas, and ensure programming delivers measurable value.
  • Facilitate operational exchanges of threat intelligence, ensuring strategic alignment with member needs and broader sector risks.
  • Serve as a community convener to drive collaboration among technical practitioners and threat analysts across sectors.
  • Draft and distribute post-meeting summaries and action items for technical groups and intelligence exchanges to maintain continuity and track progress.

 

Content Development & Threat Intelligence Integration

  • Synthesize member input, threat reports, and open-source data to develop high-quality, actionable deliverables including best practices, response templates, intelligence summaries, and investigative toolkits.
  • Enrich RH-ISAC’s threat-sharing ecosystem through monitoring and integration of dark web and open-source threat intelligence relevant to member working groups as required.
  • Respond to member Requests for Information (RFIs), and develop curated responses that support timely threat response and decision-making.
  • Assist in collecting and integrating tactical and strategic threat intelligence—such as IOCs, RFI responses, and survey data—into member resources and working group outputs.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with intelligence, membership, marketing, and event teams to ensure programmatic alignment and maximize member engagement.
  • Support planning and facilitation of briefings, analyst roundtables, tabletop exercises, and other intelligence-focused events.
  • Maintain continuous feedback loops with internal stakeholders to ensure outputs reflect community priorities and strengthen RH-ISAC’s collective defense posture.

 

Support Strategic Partnerships & Associate Member Collaboration

  • Assist in the evaluation of Associate Member intelligence capabilities and facilitate collaborative opportunities with Core Members where aligned.
  • Track trends in vendor tools, emerging technologies, and public-private partnerships (e.g., CISA, FBI, MITRE) to inform community engagement strategies.
  • Support the delivery of intelligence products and briefings that align Associate Member contributions to RH-ISAC’s operational mission.
  • Maintain awareness of Associate Member offerings and support the evaluation of tools and services by capturing member feedback and identifying potential alignment with working group goals.
  • Coordinate logistics and communication in support of RH-ISAC’s collaboration with public and private sector partners (e.g., CISA, FBI, MITRE), ensuring alignment with member needs.

 

Program Improvement & Measurement

  • Define and track program metrics related to member participation, output adoption, and collaboration effectiveness.
  • Regularly solicit and integrate member feedback to continuously evolve working group structure, content focus, and engagement approach.
  • Ensure documentation and reporting mechanisms (e.g., Salesforce, engagement dashboards) reflect activity and outcomes across assigned programs.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise across multiple cybersecurity domains
  • Possess strong knowledge of threat intelligence operations, security collaboration, and incident response
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely, both in writing and in group settings
  • Effectively engage with stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Have experience contributing to or managing information-sharing communities (e.g., ISACs, threat groups, security forums)
  • Successfully manage multiple priorities within a matrixed, cross-functional team environment
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to meeting deliverables
  • Perform professionally under pressure while maintaining a high level of integrity and accountability
  • Apply critical thinking, problem-solving, and sound decision-making in dynamic situations
  • Thrive in a mission-driven, collaborative environment that values initiative, creativity, and trusted relationships
  • Have prior experience working with or within information security vendors (a plus)

 

Location and Work Environment:

  • Location: Remote
  • Work Environment: The employee is expected to maintain a dedicated, distraction-free home workspace with reliable internet connectivity. Regular collaboration will occur via video conferencing, chat, and other digital communication tools. The role requires virtual meetings across multiple time zones. While the position offers flexibility, standard core working hours based on you and your supervisor time zones will be established are expected for availability and team coordination

Employment Type:

  • Full-Time, Exempt

 

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $75-95k
  • Benefits: The RH-ISAC offers full-time employees medical, dental, and vision insurance, a flexible savings account (FSA), a health saving account (HSA), and short-term disability plans. The RH-ISAC also offers a 401k plan with a matching contribution if you make a “matched employee contribution” during the plan year.
