Overview
The Retail & Hospitality Information Sharing and Analysis Center (RH-ISAC) is the trusted community for sharing sector-specific cybersecurity information and intelligence. The RH-ISAC connects information security teams at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels to work together on issues and challenges, share best practices and benchmark among each other – all with the goal of building better security for the retail and hospitality industries through collaboration. The RH-ISAC serves all consumer-facing companies, including retailers, restaurants, hotels, gaming casinos, travel, food retailers, consumer products and other consumer-facing companies.
The RH-ISAC is seeking a temporary, part-time Program Analyst to support our data analytics efforts for a five-month period. This individual will be responsible for capturing, categorizing, analyzing and generating reports for all member data and member collaborative activities associated with shared cyber threat intelligence, analytical products, and security collaboration in the RH-ISAC Environment.
Responsibilities Include:
Engagement Tracking: Accurately capture and categorize data from RH-ISAC’s member platforms including Slack and Member Exchange
- Determine share types, scores, engagement items, and content classifications for shares
- Review and update Slack channel tracking reports from Salesforce to ensure updated and accurate reporting
- Review and update Member Exchange classification report and remove unnecessary shares, determine share types, scores, tags, etc.
- Tag RFIs using RFI taxonomy and update RFI progress documents
Intelligence Call Support: Take accurate and thorough notes during standing meetings with the intelligence team
- Attend calls and take notes of member contributions and first-time attendees
- Compile notes from calls to be used in monthly briefings
- Keep record of attendees and add first-time participants
- Send welcome message to first-time attendees
Reports & Summaries: Compile, review and share data insights for various stakeholders as needed
- Present statistics and any new data insights and trends on Community calls with strategic leaders from member companies
- Provide statistics for RH-ISAC Board Reports
- Prepare and deliver a monthly executive briefing to senior leadership, highlighting key engagement metrics and insights from our community
- Compile intelligence trends data summaries, which may include statistics, metrics, and threat landscape data for an analyst audience
- Answer staff data requests on member engagement, including research, requests for information, events, intelligence sharing, and security collaboration
Additional Duties as Assigned
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have education, training and/or experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis and data/knowledge management
- Have or be able to gain an increasing familiarity with general cybersecurity operations and terminology
- Possess experience using PowerBI, Salesforce, SQL, Excel, and other data visualization tools, with exceptional skills in graphically displaying and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data trends
- Be a self-motivated quick starter able to actively listen and capture complex technical information
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with experience translating community engagement data into clear insights and written and oral presentations for a variety of audiences, including executives and Board members
- Exhibit integrity, maturity, dependability, and sound judgment
