Renewable Energy & Drives US, LLC (RED-US) is newly formed parts and service business servicing Power Electronic Systems with a pre-established customer base and fully engineered products based in Franklin, WI. We are looking for a Test Associate Engineer to assist in testing and quality inspection on site. In addition, some field service work is required with up to 25% travel.

 

Objectives of this role

• Adhere to safety requirements and maintain a safe working environment whether in the field or in the shop.
• Travel to support field service work up to 25%.
• Perform final quality inspections and checkout on major assemblies prior to shipping.
• Perform electronic assembly testing following written procedures.
• Perform circuit board testing and calibrations following written procedures.
• Modify printed circuit boards following written instructions and schematics.
• Upload software and firmware into HMI computers, control boards, and other devices following written instructions.

 

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate timekeeping as directed by policy.
• Submit accurate expense reports on a weekly basis.
• File all completed testing reports in a timely manner.
• Attend meetings and manage e-mail correspondence.
• Complete all assigned training.
• Submit all field service reports in a timely manner.
• Record and maintain professional knowledge base in a skills matrix.
