Role Overview

The Assembler is responsible for manufacturing high-quality power electronic components and assemblies with a strong focus on precision, functionality, and reliability. This individual will play a critical role in supporting RED-US’s production operations by ensuring that all assemblies meet engineering specifications and quality standards.

 

Objectives of This Role

To manufacture power quality components and assemblies with an unwavering commitment to quality, accuracy, and operational efficiency — supporting RED-US’s mission to deliver reliable, fully engineered solutions to its customers.

 

Responsibilities

Assembly & Production

• Read and interpret work orders, production drawings, wiring diagrams, and sample assemblies to guide daily tasks

• Perform repetitive and non-repetitive electronic assembly operations with consistent accuracy

• Fabricate and assemble cables and wire harnesses, ensuring proper organization, routing, and connection techniques

Soldering & Electrical Connections

• Utilize soldering, de-soldering, and crimping techniques to create secure and reliable electrical connections

• Operate and maintain soldering and de-soldering equipment in accordance with company standards

Quality & Inspection

• Inspect finished assemblies and components for defects, ensuring all products meet quality and functional requirements

• Discern the quality of parts and materials used in production, flagging non-conforming items appropriately

• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to wiring diagrams, assembly changes, and inspection checklists

Inventory & Tools

• Track and inventory parts, components, and tools used throughout the assembly process

• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition to support uninterrupted production

Workplace & Compliance

• Keep a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times

• Follow all company procedures, directives, and attendance policies

• Receive and act on verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision

• Manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities effectively

• Perform other duties as assigned

 

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in electronic or electromechanical assembly preferred

• Hands-on experience with soldering, de-soldering, and crimping techniques

• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly drawings

• Strong attention to detail with a quality-first mindset

• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent quality standards

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally
