Renewable Energy & Drives US, LLC (RED-US) is a parts and service business servicing Power Electronic Systems located in New Berlin, WI. We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to assist in the service, repair, and maintenance of power quality equipment in the field on our customer sites. Maintenance/technician experience preferred. While the role offers the flexibility of remote work, we are specifically seeking qualified candidates located in the greater Phoenix, AZ area.
Objectives of this role

- To understand the customers expectations and to have in place measures which measure performance against those expectations.
- To co-ordinate and execute all operational activities required by the internal and field service team – e.g. Build, diagnose faults and repair of power quality equipment, field service visits to customer sites, technical support, and to ensure that all internal departments are aware of their participation and the deliverables required from them.
- To report to the line manager and the client the status of each activity through routine communication as required.
- To seek opportunity for Renewable Energy and Drives from the development of the client and the contract, taking support from the wider RE&D team where required.
- To ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
Responsibilities
- To receive calls from both external and internal customers for field service hours
- Frequent contact with the customer & RE&D staff to ensure that each task is progressing as planned. To correct any action which are not completing to plan.
- Reporting frequently (at least twice per week) to your line manager on the key issues / risk / requirements relating to the contract.
- Ensuring that timesheets, work cards and documentation within the Quality and Safety Management System are completed in a timely manner. All documents relating to the contract are passed through the system, in particular where approvals are required.
- Develop and submit (after management approval) a monthly activity report.
- Ensure that all of the service teams equipment is maintained in a safe and calibrated condition
- Ensure that all work carried out on customer site within your geographical area is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
- The development and submittal of all quotations for any repair work carried out by the internal and field team.
- Preparation and submittal of all sales invoices to your line manager associated with the activities carried out in the internal and field team.
- Completion of, and participation in tool box talks, Risk Assessment and Method Statements and submittal to both internal and external customers and line manager.
- Detailed internal and field service planning and resource management (in association with your line manager/supervisor).
- Facilitating pre and post completion of field service work meetings where field service engineers are managing site work or shutdowns, generation of reports.
