General Manager — Luxury Floral Events Studio

Compensation: $90,000–$120,000 depending on experience

The Role

The General Manager is the operational leader of our production and event execution teams. This role is responsible for ensuring that day-to-day operations run efficiently, that team members are supported and accountable, and that every event leaves the studio at the highest standard of quality and professionalism.

The General Manager reports directly to company leadership and serves as the primary point of contact for all team members regarding scheduling, workflow, performance, and operational questions.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage production, operations, and event execution teams
  • Oversee daily operations, schedules, staffing, and production flow
  • Ensure quality standards, efficient workflows, and on-time installations
  • Serve as the central link between production, design, and client-facing teams
  • Monitor capacity, address issues, and escalate key decisions as needed
  • Manage timesheets, payroll coordination, and operational reporting to leadership

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–5+ years of experience in operations management, team leadership, or production supervision — preferably in events, hospitality, or creative production
  • Demonstrated success managing teams, holding people accountable, and driving results
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Clear, confident communicator with a calm, solutions-oriented leadership approach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and basic scheduling/tracking tools
  • Comfortable communicating digitally in fast-paced environments using WhatsApp, Slack, and email

Physical & Work Requirements

This role requires flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules. You’ll travel locally to venues, warehouses, and client sites, and need the stamina and focus to perform in high-pressure, fast-paced production settings.
