Event Design Associate

Seeking Event Design Associate for a fast-paced, high-end floral design company. Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities shift quickly. This role requires grit, exceptional responsiveness, and an outstanding attitude—especially during busy seasons when work is demanding and deadlines are tight.

In this role, you will support the sales and design process by working directly with clients, creating design presentations, managing project details, and ensuring seamless execution. This role is ideal for someone with a clean design aesthetic, strong administrative skills, and the ability to close sales efficiently while maintaining our brand standards.

The following is a general list of tasks that this role would be responsible for, but may not encompass all responsibilities:

  • Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally, gathering project details and moving opportunities through our sales process efficiently

 

  • Create mood boards and design presentations using color palettes, materials, and imagery that align with our luxury aesthetic and the client's vision

 

  • Develop and send proposals in a timely manner, following established templates and processes

 

  • Manage client communication throughout the sales cycle and project timeline, ensuring quick turnaround and follow-up

 

  • Coordinate project logistics, including timelines, vendor communication, and event details

 

  • Support onsite execution and setup of installations and events as needed

 

  • Maintain organized project files, spreadsheets, and documentation with meticulous attention to detail

 

  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously, especially during peak seasons, with the understanding that last-minute requests are common and work hours can be demanding

 

 

Desired Skills and Expertise

  • 2-3 years of experience in events, hospitality, design, or a related client-facing field

 

  • Strong design sensibility with the ability to create clean, cohesive mood boards and work with color palettes

 

  • Proven ability to follow processes and systems while maintaining quality and efficiency

 

  • Exceptional organizational and administrative skills—must be comfortable with spreadsheets, project management tools, and detail-oriented work

 

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to speak confidently with clients and close sales quickly

 

  • Customer service oriented with a solutions-focused mindset

 

  • Highly responsive and able to manage competing priorities under pressure

 

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative

 

  • Comfortable with the demands of a luxury service business, including long hours during busy seasons, weekend work, and last-minute requests
